"Normally before I book a hotel, I spend days reading reviews and comparing other hotels to get the best deal and ideal location. For this particular trip, I didn't have the mental capacity to spend days researching considering NYC has so many options so I just booked and prayed that I was not going to get there and regret my decision. Location: 10/10 Located in Midtown. If taking the metro to go downtown/uptown or beyond Manhattan, Grand Central Terminal just a few steps away. Appearance: Exterior 6/10. I noticed the street was dirty but that might be due to the homeless that seem to hang out right outside the main entrance and leave their trash. Interior 8/10. Lobby was fine. Nothing picture worthy. Hotel Room: 6/10 My biggest issue throughout my entire stay was my room was really stuffy. No matter how much I fidget with the thermostat the room never cooled down properly. Besides that, the room itself, the most basic was fine for my needs. Room was clean, hot/cold water on demand, and mini fridge included. No coffee maker which personally I never use anyways. I stayed for 4 nights. The deposit I thought was a bit too steep (but I knew that when booking). $500 dollars of which $195 was actually charged. Resort fee plus baggage check. Would I stay here again? Sure."

"Great stay, quite impressed. Our flight arrived in the morning but the lovely staff member at the counter was able to find us a room which was ready to go and got us an early check-in with no extra charge. Much appreciated after not getting much sleep on the plane! Room was nice and clean, some temporary issues with the AC and the toilet arose a few days in - but both times that we got in touch regarding these issues somebody was dispatched and arrived within 10 minutes - both issues were then completely resolved promptly, with the option to change rooms if they weren't. Plenty of shops and places to eat around too. Nice pools and great beach. Overall great stay."

"Stayed here for EDC and I got a higher floor at check in which turned out great. The room was clean and well appointed with a nice bathtub for post-festival recovery. The temperature control worked well and was responsive to changes. No issues with housekeeping during the festival although, as usual, my room only got serviced once because I was sleeping during their normal working hours. One downside is the noise from the beach club which can be intrusive during the daytime when you are sleeping during the festival. This was remedied by turning the fan on for some white noise. The breakfast and most of the restaurants are nice (as would be expected for the prices they are charging) although I think they should consider having more of the restaurants open for longer hours during EDC/EDC week so people waking up late can get breakfast/brunch or whatever meal it is at around 3-4 PM. It would have been nice to get a steak dinner at Don's or the outstanding brunch prix fixe at La Fontaine in the mid afternoon before getting on the 6 pm shuttle to the festival."

"The location of the hotel was great, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing. The room — especially the bathtub and bathroom area — was not clean, and there appeared to be mold between the bathroom tiles. The shower curtain was also extremely dirty and honestly quite disgusting. Another major issue was the shower water temperature. The water stayed cold the entire time, so we were never able to have a comfortable shower during our stay. On top of that, after checkout they charged us $12 USD to store a carry-on suitcase and backpack for only two hours, which felt unreasonable. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again, although the location was convenient."
