The Hotel Del Sol was centrally located in a very trendy neighborhood minutes from Union Street. Comfortable room with local flair and a 1950s vibe. It met all our needs, was pet friendly and the staff were great! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was great for the price and the location was great. Close to pier 39, Crissy Fields and the Palace of Fine Arts. The parking is the biggest issue and I was not fully aware till I got there. They have about 10-12 spots that are very narrow. Even if you pay the fee, the parking is first come first serve which means you may not have a spot if you leave for the day and the street parking in the neighborhood is extremely limited.

The stuff are very nice and fast response. However they are a motel not hotel, do no have daily cleaning service you have to request one day ahead which is annoying. Also double bed are full size not queen, so very tied for 2 people in one bed. Also $50 a night for deposit is quite high imagine you book for 7 day will be 350 deposit for a $100 room! Otherwise the room is very clean and breakfast is nice value for the price.
