Top San Diego Hotel Reviews
Paradise Point Resort & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at an inside bungalow which was fine on this beautifully landscaped property. We were on a small lake with a fountain that was relaxing. Also, there was plenty of things to do including climbing the tower, feeding the ducks and fish, and walking around the grounds. The Barefoot Bar is one of my favorite places to eat and drink with a great view and delicious food."

Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Little Italy
8/10 Good
"I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Downtown Little Italy, and overall, it’s a great hotel with a lot of potential. The location is excellent and truly within walking distance to Little Italy, which made exploring the neighborhood incredibly convenient. The property itself was clean, safe, and visually well‑maintained. That said, my stay came with a few bumps: Check‑in was a little chaotic, likely due to a new system upgrade the hotel was rolling out. I was mistakenly billed for a room I had already paid for, which took extra time at arrival. I booked and paid for a sunset view, but ended up with a freeway view instead. Not a deal‑breaker, but definitely disappointing given the price difference and expectation. Our Wi‑Fi didn’t work during the stay. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one ever answered. When I went down to the lobby, the lines were extremely long, clearly the staff was overwhelmed and juggling a lot at once. Despite the hiccups, the hotel itself is genuinely nice. It seems they had a lot going on behind the scenes, and unfortunately, I ended up with the short end of the stick during a busy or transitional period. I’d consider staying again, but hopefully once their systems are running smoothly."
