"We enjoyed our stay. Very clean only problem we had was we couldn’t get the TV to work. They were helpful with suggestions, but we never were able to figure it out. Overall a very nice place to stay"

El Cordova Hotel on Coronado Island

"My stay at El Cordova Hotel was disappointing. The main issue was that there was no hot water in my room for more than 24 hours. Taking a shower or using hot water was simply impossible during a significant part of my stay. What made the situation worse is that the hotel staff appeared to be aware of the problem, yet guests were still checked into affected rooms. While staff members apologized, there was no meaningful effort to resolve the situation promptly and no fair compensation was offered for such a major inconvenience. Being told that a plumber would eventually come was not a solution, especially when it became clear that repairs were unlikely to happen quickly. When you pay for a hotel, basic amenities like hot water should be available. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The lack of communication, limited response from management, and absence of adequate compensation left a very negative impression. I cannot recommend this hotel based on my experience and would think twice before staying here again."

Best Western Plus Suites Hotel Coronado Island

"Hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area is pretty small but doable as long as a large amount of people do not all show up at one time. Our family visits Coronado yearly and this was our first stay at this property. It is closer to the bay side of the island but not a bad walk to either the bay shops or the main shopping district on Orange Ave and the Beach. We would recommend this property for its location and affordability."
