"The hotel experience overall was excellent. The room was very clean and updated. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast options were also great and loved the fact that they offer it. But talk about location. I think it was the perfect location. It's within a walking distance to a grocery store (albeit it was on a more "expensive" side), to some shops, and to restaurants. At the end of that street is actually a park where there's a garden and walking path by the beach, over looking the city of San Diego. It feels quiet and safe enough that I walked with my kids in the early hours of the evening. The people were very nice and friendly. The staff were courteous and attentive at all times. It is close to the bridge and to everything else, really. As with any cities, watch out for the traffic times. As crossing the bridge could take you 10-15 mins on a good day, to being stuck there linger than you have to coz of rush hour, or evening traffic. So plan for those when going in and out of the city."
