We really enjoyed our stay at Sands of La Jolla! We stayed on the second floor with a king-sized bed, and the room was clean, with a balcony to lay out towels and swim suits.

This was a very unexpected hidden little treasure that we loved!!! We will definitely stay there again. We were pleasantly surprised. It was very quiet. Parking was easy and accessible and it was close to Pacific and Mission Beach, where we spent most of our time. Wow, what a find! Great value and so close to where we wanted to go, good beaches, food, and a surf shop within walking distance. A little loud one of five nights due to rowdy guests, and coffee makers in the units would be nice too. I will stay again.

Great experience! Room was perfect for a long weekend. Staff was very kind and helpful. Nothing special but very clean, updated, safe, and had everything we needed for a long weekend. Great location (if you like to walk). About a 20 min walk to pacific beach and 10 mins to public beach access point between pacific beach and bird rock. Lots of cute coffee shops within a 5 min walk along wth a CVS next door which was very convenient.
