"This place was advertised as sleeping 7, but it barely can hold 4. When told about the accommodation was told we are Japanese and this is how it works for us. "The staff go above and beyond at the Nohga Hotel and were so helpful with any questions and requests. The hotel provides a pack with plenty of recommendations for restaurants and things to do with their own comment, and will help with booking if you need. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bakery both of which I would strongly recommend (including the breakfast) as well as a rooftop bar. Despite so much going on in the hotel there was never an issue with noise. Good location with no more than a 10 minute walk to Kiyomizu-Gojo train station, and a bus stop close by. I would strongly recommend this hotel."

"Terrible experience If you have a tattoo forget about swimming at this hotels pool - also pool costs $7 per person if you dont have a tatoo, towels $3.50 - restaurant is ridiculously over priced - used laundry facilities at hotel( 8 shirts, 8 underwear and socks (basically under 1 load of laundry) $114 !!!..Noone speaks English and you would think someone would - everything so expensive - rooms crazy small - would have never brought a child to stay here if I wasn't allowed to take him swimming ...their solution- BUY sleeves to cover my tattoos - never a manager their to speak to Don't waste your time ...glad we moved onto another hotel"

"My son and I were visiting the Tachikawa area for an event and stayed in Hachioji for four nights at the b Hachioji. Hachioji was a convenient 3 stops down the Chuo line and the hotel was a pleasant less than 10 minute walk from the Hachioji train station. As visitors from the US we found the area easy to navigate and the b Hachioji hotel excellent for foreign visitors. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size (keep in mind most hotel rooms in Japan feel small by US standards) -- we had 2 beds and our non-smoking room had no evidence of smoking from the past. The hotel has a nice coffee and water station in the lobby that I took advantage of daily (although we never made it for the free evening pancakes from 6-8 PM). There is ample food nearby (special shoutout to the Matsunoya katsu chain around the corner), 3 major drug store chains, and all 3 major convenience store chains. I would highly recommend b Hachioji for foreign visitors."
