"Standard room. Cleanliness : Room was clean for the most part, didn’t like the big cobwebs near the door to the balcony when I first entered. The room cleaning lady was lovely and very thorough though and did a splendid job. Internet : Wifi was good (did struggle a bit at night around 10-11pm but generally good). Room : Tv was off center , also tilted, it kept triggering my OCD. The curtain is very difficult to adjust due to how it’s positioned behind the sofa. The balcony door was locked , probably due to the weather. Didn’t like how there were no water jugs , plates , cutlery provided, those are in my opinion more important than a couple of wine glasses. Besides this, the room was good, very spacious, had decent storage for me, enough lights, good bed with comfortable mattress. Service : Didn’t seem like there’s any room service and there aren’t any in hotel restaurants (tho they have a good included breakfast selection). Misc : I liked the lobby as it was spacious and very easy to work in. "

"I would kindly ask the staff to check and refill the shampoo and conditioner more frequently. During my stay, the conditioner bottle was empty, and there was only a very small amount of shampoo left. It would be great if these items could be regularly monitored and replenished for guests. Overall, everything was great — everything was clean and beautiful."

"Le Square Phillips was recommended to us by our daughter, who stays there frequently on business. We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was enormous and came with a full kitchen, including a residential size fridge, stove and dishwasher. The location is excellent. It is an easy walk from the train station, a few doors from St. Catherine Street, and about a five minute walk to the metro. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Although there were no hot foods, there was plenty of variety, including hard boiled eggs. We highly recommend this hotel. "

"The rooms were very nice. Very clean. Love that there was no carpet in the rooms. The bathrooms were very modern, clean and well done, the motion detection mirror was a very nice touch. We were horribly disappointed in the hotel restaurant where we went for brunch on a Sunday at noon. The staff seemed to be having a very bad day, we were a group of 8 but the restaurant was empty, there was only one other table with 2 people while we were there. The staff were uninterested in answering questions and very slow, we had to ask 2 times to get our coffees. There was no communication from them, like explaining that a new pot had to be brewed. We could see some of our drinks prepared and left on the bar to wait. When we made a comment about it, we were treated like our comments were bothering them. The food on the brunch menu was super disappointing. For $18-22 a plate I would suggest going somewhere else. We tried to give them some feedback about it and they didn’t even care. They made it seem like we were picky to say that $22 for an over cooked Benedict egg, a club with dry chicken and a poutine with old cheese was normal. The hotel reception was very good, they were very pleasant and answered our questions. We loved the pool on the roof. The changing rooms and access to pool towels was great. "

"Breakfast is good. It would be great if the egg is not cold or maybe instead of boiled eggs, scrambled egg would be better. I like the atmosphere in the dining area. Staff are great. I would recommend the hotel "
