"We visited between Christmas and New Years and absolutely loved this property. All of the staff were amazing, the Christmas decorations were beautiful and it was surprisingly quiet in the rooms. Despite facing the street, we rarely heard noise. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"Our stay at Hotel Richelieu was absolutely wonderful. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of the French Quarter, yet still calm and charming. We were able to walk everywhere while enjoying a peaceful retreat at the end of the day. The hotel itself is full of character and history, exactly what you hope for in New Orleans. Our room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The courtyard and pool were a true highlight—such a relaxing oasis after a day of exploring. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. This hotel captures the soul of New Orleans: elegant, laid-back, and full of charm. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic French Quarter experience."

"Room 2031 is listed as an oversized king room HOWEVER the bathroom is SMALL. It is very hard to maneuver in the bathroom. The shower head needs to be changed and the water pressure is sub par. I love the hotel and the location BUT this room isn’t it! You can’t sit on the couch and watch tv because there’s a wall blocking the view. Again, it’s sub par. I always stay at this hotel in NOLA but never again will I stay in room 2031. There is a connecting room to room 2031 and the walls are super thin. So much so that I heard EVERYTHING that was happening in that room. The location of this property is exactly what you want and need because it’s close to everything! One block from Bourbon St. ALL of the staff members were awesome!"
