"Word of mouth carries a lot of wait from the bush it was good old fashion service and charm and a great price ,country people have stopped coming to Sydney because of the room prices at most motels which is a shame I had business in Sydney and was surprised by the price we will be back with friends as the room prices allow families to enjoy"

"Firstly they have over charged me far more than the booking amount. We didn't steal or damage anything! I will be investigating it further! For an expensive hotel there were some "normal" items missing from the room in our opinion! There was no microwave or toaster! The hotel was in a difficult place to walk to in the "rocks"of Sydney."

"I don’t believe “no” is in the vocabulary of the staff. Whatever I needed, they had (plug adapter and a charger when mine died), and even things I didn’t know I needed, they provided (a bookmark and a cord holder). My room was upgraded to a partial Harbour view, and I spent many an hour in the window nook enjoying Vivid Sydney from the comfort of my room. From the front desk to house keeping, everyone was friendly and took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Convenient location to landmarks; trains, ferries and buses two blocks away, but a very walkable city if you have the time. The only disappointment was the “signature” hot chocolate - I had read online about how decadent it is, but the one I got at the To Go bar was less than average."

"1 star. A $2,500 lesson I shouldn't have had to learn. I have stayed in more hotels than most, and I can say with confidence that this property has one of the most dangerously designed car parks I have ever encountered. Upon entering, there is no turning circle. None. Once you're in, you're committed, and the only way out is to reverse the entire length of the car park in near-darkness past unmarked pylons. I am a careful, experienced driver with a clean record spanning decades. I still reversed into a pylon I simply could not see. The repair bill came to $2,500. This is not a user error problem. It is a design and safety failure, and there are zero warning signs advising guests of what they're about to navigate. To compound the frustration, the offer I had booked under clearly stated free parking. Staff attempted to dispute this at check-in, requiring me to produce my phone and physically show them the promotion before they relented. Not a great start after you've just damaged your vehicle in their car park. Once inside, good luck finding the lobby. It isn't labelled on the elevator, so you'll be guessing floors while lugging your bags. I would urge management to install adequate lighting, proper signage warning guests about the reversing requirement, and to train their front desk team to honour advertised promotions without argument. Until these issues are addressed, I would strongly caution any guest against driving to this property."
