Our server Marahil (sorry not sure on the spelling from memory) was more than helpful (nothing was too much considering how busy they were) and it was a nice touch that the breakfast plates were hot keeping my food warmer for longer. The bathroom was adequate with large shower, but adjusting shower height was a little bit of a problem for a shorter person. Customer service was excellent and they dealt quickly with a problem with the bathroom. Breakfast was more than adequate adequate, it offered a large range of both Continental and English choices, I ate from both. The staff were very professional and there were plenty around if you needed anything. The only negative was the lift service, it was very slow and on more than one occasion there were more than one lift out of operation. Not a problem depending which floor you occupied. I have stayed here previously and would definitely repeat my stay. "

"Smallest of rooms. "you couldn't swing a cat!". The glass door to bathroom and shower wasnt an issue as i was solo, but if i wasnt it could be a bit awkward. Bar closes fairly early. Hardly a budget hotel, think I'd look for somewhere with a bit more space next time."

"Location great for purpose of trip near King’s cross. Did not like that room doesn’t have safety latch on inside of room. No one at front desk or housekeeping answers phone. Shower drain didn’t work so we had to set up a makeshift device so water can drain. Lotion was empty. All in all room did not appear ready for guests. "

"The room was musty and smelled like a basement. There were also bright emergency lights in the bedroom right over the bed that could not be shut off. We ended up having to tape cardboard over the light. The staff helped us with the cardboard suggesting it was a common problem. Terrible experience overall. The location was the only good thing. "
