Close to everything, the train station, all the main historic sites. All walkable. Breakfast voucher at a nearby cafe is wonderful. With freshly squeezed orange juice. Do eat at “that’s Amore” near Trevi fountain.

Perfect location in Rome

I had a fantastic stay at Amoroma Hotel in Rome! The hotel was incredibly clean, and the staff spoke excellent English, making communication easy. My room was spacious with a stunning view, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep each night. The housekeeping service was outstanding—our room was cleaned daily, and we were provided with fresh water regularly. The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, with everything within easy reach. Overall, I highly recommend Amoroma Hotel and would definitely stay here again!

It was a lovely little room close to everything. Reasonably priced even though we made reservations just days before our trip. However finding the key to the room was a bit of a challenge. Was not familiar with the lock and it took a while and a phone call to figure out how to open it. Maybe more instructions on what the lock looks like and how to open it. Otherwise it was a great stay and would go there again!

Though I never met the staff in person, but online customer service replied promptly and helpful. The room was clean and comfort. A few points can be improved 1. The WiFi was unstable and often disconnect. 2. The bath water temperature was unstable and running out of hot water before I finished my bath. 3. Thick stain inside the electric water kettle. I think it may cause by the mineral of the water but should be better to clean it.

Overall this location was perfect for us as Florence is small and walkable. The room was fine but there was some interesting marks on the wall that in the daylight looked like blood, as though people had killed the mosquitoes that were in the room and the remainders were left on the wall. The bathroom also had a horrendous sewage like smell when we checked in and I did make note of it via Expedia, and I think they dealt with it while we were out the next day as it was better when we returned. I was not communicated with about it, so it could have also just gone away from us leaving the window open. So not sure if there was an issue or what. Would still recommend for the location, price and free breakfast if you're there for a short stay like we were.

Property had two sets of doors and codes to pass through which made it feel safe. Room is small and minimal but caters to the necessities. Good location near the train station and most landmarks are a 30 min walk. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Make sure you have whatsapp to be able to communicate and have full instructions!!! We did not and had a delay and condusion with checking in later in the afternoon. Bed was comfortable. Nice window and view however it can be a little nosiey. Would stay again

This property had flimsy doorknobs and locks that did not seem secure. Our lockbox with our key in it was already set to the code to unlock which did not make us feel good. There are maybe 5 other rooms with paper thin walls. The elevator could only hold one person and was ancient. It does not have 24 hour receptionist, the Wi-Fi username did not match the information provided by the host. Host’s communication was fair. We showed up and unfortunately made other accommodations and do not complete our stay here.

Check in was my biggest complaint. When we arrived, the gate code they had sent worked for the outside door but not the door for the reception room. After calling the phone number on the door we finally got a code to enter reception where there wasn’t a person working so everything was handled by text. Staff works the desk until 1:30 but check in starts at 2. Makes no sense. We spent so long in that hot reception room trying to pay the city tax before they would give us access to our room. We needed to communicate by WhatsApp and pay via a link he had to send. Then wait for a reply. All very slow, typical lack of urgency in Italy. The room was not as cool as I like so we had open windows at night, so it was noisy with traffic sounds. Shower was small and low water pressure. Good on towels and cleanliness and overall accommodations.

If you want comfort, don't go there

The room was comfortable enough but I was really disappointed with Hotels.com, they made me pay a price that wasn't that of the room, as per the bill shown by reception. I paid way more that I should have, and that is on top of having a very poor choice of food for breakfast, only sweets, in a different location than the hotel where there isn't any room to sit since there are so many customers. So I had to bring the food back to my room, in a yet different location from reception, where they don't have a bathroom for clients. The doors were barely closing, and the cleaners would not air the room, which was clear from the smell when I got back. Also the rooms aren't soundproof at all and people would come at all hours of the morning delivering large bag items in the hallway which was very unpractical whenever I'd want to go out in the morning. Needless to say it was one of my worst hotel experiences.
