The location was perfect, short walk (steep steps) into town, great views of the abbey on the walk down. Good exercise walking back up. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back again."

"A staff member advised that the hotel is focused on catering to venues. A wedding was being held when we were staying. We were advised by the hotel in advance but after booking through Expedia. The best parts of the hotel are reserved for the event leaving hotel guests not part of the event to be catered for in poorer situated parts. On the plus side, the hotel is situated in a stunning location but being on the coast the wind howled outside the room. The overwhelming impression is that guests not part of a function are a necessary afterthought."
