Hilton Garden Inn Los Angeles/Hollywood

"Kind of what you'd expect for a hotel close to Hollywood Blvd. Very good, great proximity to sights, and the Bowl and The Ford venues. Nothing fancy, but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Quiet, especially for being right on a busy street. I have two minor complaints - no light or lamp on the large desk area, so nearly impossible to do any work. And only one a/c outlet, right between the two lights by the bed, and one on the far side of the bed. Nothing accessible on the counter / desk area. Unacceptable. Staff was great, especially the front desk, Valet guys were totally on it. Oh, one other complaint - the restaurant. TGIFridays? Come on. I've never eaten at one, and I certainly wasn't going to start here. If I wanted burgers, wings and finger food, fine. But otherwise, the choices were limited and I wasn't interested. 7 our of 10 because of the slight negatives."

"The hotel stay was good. It was clean. Bathroom fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The not so good, was the elevator kept opening on random floors and buttons were there for decoration because the elevator had a mind of its own. In the lobby they have vending machines and a microwave and ice machine. Vending machines down in lobby only takes exact cash, no change and only dollar bills . Checked in through a kiosk while someone random FaceTimed me while I checked in. No one in lobby, but later saw someone at the desk so I might have just gotten there when no one was there. Parking garage under the hotel is $30 a night and car clearance is 6.5 ft so do not take a tall car. Elevator accesible from garage to floors. Was quiet and felt safe. Will stay again if I visit the area."

"Awesome stay from the very beginning. Friendly Valet and Jenay at the front desk were great. Checked us in right away to the room we purchased. Great views. Great small rooftop pool but not too small. Great food at pool. Bar List awesome views of Hollywood and great Bartendars. Jordan was awesome. Wine hour from 5 to 6. Awesome place to stay visiting Hollywood and the Hollywood Bowl."

"Since its hotel is on Sunset right outside can be chaos and a little crazy. However, once in the parking garage and the hotel, it’s like an oasis. Clean quiet and loved the pool area. Spent hours in the pool. Room was clean and comfy, including the bed itself.! nice quality soap and shampoo in the shower. I would definitely stay here again!"
