Nicolás at the front desk was very friendly and efficient when he checked me in. He was also very helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast included is very good. The hotel itself is somewhat basic but the best option to be on the beach. The bathroom toiletries such as vanity kit and tissue were never replaced throughout the 6-day stay. Would be nice to have a regular box of Kleenex. Bed and pillows were hard, so I didn’t sleep comfortably. But overall a nice stay

Went for carnival and it was a good location as a number of the blocos (street parties) happened on the neighborhood. Room was clean and staff friendly. My only disappointment was the lack of umbrellas up on the roof terrace by the pool as I had hoped to chill out in between the partying but without any shade it was way too hot. They do have umbrellas on the beach but that is 'partytown'during carnival so no respite from the chaos.

Front desk staff not helpful, Ipanema beach / water across the street had days with an oily sheen, debris, not good for swiming. Had a Uber to airport, front desk staff didn't mention street would be shutdown for a pre Carnival parade - rude!! Average room size, some street noise.

The price you pay is for the location, and it's perfect location. Steps from beach and the neighbourhood, full of everything you need, include a metro station. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The rooms are adequate. Very firm beds but surprisingly comfortable. Beach-facing rooms have double-paned glass. Rooftop bar & pool is small, so don't plan on there always being space to lounge there.

Una ubicación excelente en plena playa de Ipanema. el desayuno muy completo, servicio fue muy atento y a tiempo, la habitación con gran vista al mar. Puede mejorar un poco en la calidad de la habitación que a veces es algo ruidosa y puede ocupar una remodelación, pero en general es muy recomendable y cumple para una gran estadía.
