Good location - close to Lapa, Gloria and Cinelândia. You can walk to Flamengo beach and Gloria Marina for a boat ride. The rooms are basic but comfortable and the shower is hot with excellent water pressure. The breakfast is good.

The area is terrible. Very dirty, noisy, a lot of homeless people. The only good thing about this hotel is the staff and the breakfast. I wouldn't recommend it for solo female travelers, especially first time in Brazil. I was so shocked and scared to leave my room.

Lapa has great hotels.

The room was very colorful, but it was very comfortable. the lights and different settings were very cool. very modern . The staff was very nice and professional, especially Leo. For a foreigner is very difficult to adapt to Brazil, everything felt different to me, but he explained to me everything and was very patient.

Hotel did not actually accept reservation

Hotel claims to have lost my reservation and so I had to find accommodation elsewhere. Front desk staff were very helpful in locating a replacement hotel, but this situation never should have happened in the first place

Its not at all worth of what we paid for hotel and feel like we paid more money with less comfort and less amenities

La verdad es que la habitación estaba muy chica, nada que ver con las fotos que publican no tienen ni cobijas, sólo dan una sábana y como a las ocho de la noche sale mucho indigente y ya no puedes caminar libremente

Ótima localização

Os rapazes da recepção são muito gentis e prestativos. O check-in é a partir das 14h mas cheguei bem antes do horário, e o quarto já estava disponível. Ótima localização, da para ir a pé para Lapa, Marina da Glória, Santa Teresa, feirinha da Glória. Café da manhã maravilhoso. Não tenho do que reclamar.

Aseo. El cuarto cumple con lo que promete. El asignado era muy pequeño. Dos camas individuales para personas no más altas de 1.80 y de contextura normal. Bastante angostas pero cumplen para el descanso. La ropa de cama estaba rota por desgaste. Almohadas bien. Colchón bueno. Baño. Excelente ducha. Buena agua caliente. El lavabo y el inodoro son viejos. Funcionales. No me gustó que tuviera asiento acolchado (gusto personal). El cuart solo lo asean por pedido. Tenían 4 toallas para dos personas, lo que esta ok. Seguridad de la zona. Tomar en cuenta que es el casco histórico de Río, en un barrio histórico como es Lapa. Sumarle que si en Río hay indigencia en esta zona por demás, aunque no se meten con nadie. Cada quien en lo suyo. Pero siempre hay que andar con el cuidado de cualquier gran ciudad. Saliendo del hotel a unos pasos está Escalera de Selarón con su ambiente de bares y fiesta; en cualquier otra dirección y a menos de una cuadra hay ambiente bohemio, bares, música en vivo y comida, tanto de restaurante como callejera. Los precios son muy accesibles en la zona, casi que como en todo Río. A 3 cuadras del hotel estan los Arcos de Lapa y otro conjunto de bares, restaurantes y sitios de ambiente en la zona de Lapa. Primera impresión. De entrada no me vende el hotel. Se ve viejo y no muy seguro. Cuando fui estaba en remodelación al menos la entrada. Pero en un par de días lo ves como parte del paisaje y hasta familiar. Camas Funcionales. Pequeñas. Internet Ok Desayuno 10/10

Gostaria de deixar um elogio ao Neto, que fez meu check in ainda cedo, por volta das 07:30. Havia um quarto disponível e ele liberou para mim. Sei que esse tipo de ocorrência não é comum em hotéis, onde o check in é cada vez mais tardio (14h, 15h). Esse gesto de gentileza me deixou muito feliz com o estabelecimento. Parabéns, Neto!
