Great hotel, great and friendly staff. Food was good and they had good options. Every time we needed something, staff would promptly take care of us. Unfortunately this property does not offer an iron, which I think is something very important for travelers that keep their clothes inside a luggage. WiFi was poor, would work better at the lobby or at night, when fewer people were using it. Rooftop was nice but we didn’t get to enjoy it due to the weather. Location is pretty good. The ac was dripping on the inside but nothing that would really bother us. Overall it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

I traveled with my three daughters for a girls trip. It was in a good area for shopping and eating. The hospitality was amazing and the breakfast options were great. My only disappointment was the water pressure in the shower.

I’m honestly really disappointed with my stay at this hotel in Rio. The first room we were given was nothing like the photos online and was in really poor condition. It was dirty, had a strong moldy smell, and it genuinely felt like we were put in one of the worst rooms they had available. It was such a frustrating way to start our trip. To their credit, they did move us to another room after we complained, and I appreciate that they made the change. But it’s still hard to get past the feeling that we were initially placed in a room they knew was far below standard. No guest should have to ask just to be given a clean and acceptable room. Another frustrating issue was the housekeeping. Our toilet paper was not refilled unless we specifically asked for it, which is such a basic thing that should be handled automatically. It added to the feeling that the overall service and attention to the rooms was lacking. The only truly positive part of the stay was the breakfast, which was genuinely good every morning, and the busboys were incredibly kind and helpful each time we had breakfast. Even though they changed our room, I’m still left disappointed overall because the first impression and the lack of basic upkeep really affected our trip.

Breakfast was pretty good, staff was very helpful and polite. Location was relatively good for some things like going to the city centre and some other interesting urban spots. But if you are looking for closeness to main beaches, it ends up being too far. However, the pool area was practically abandoned, the waterwas freezing cold (not asking for a hot tub temperature, but it was so cold it hurt for the first 10 min). There was a bar but no service, there was a sauna but it was out of service for who know how long...

Our king bed room had a weird layout of 80% bed, leaving the rest of the space feeling tight and cramped. Lighting is either all on or a small bed-side lamp. The bathroom felt dated and lacked amenities like to hang towels and clothes. Service and breakfast were very good and the lobby and rooftop areas in particular were very nice. The location around is very lively. A bit sketchy but you can find anything you need within walking distance at any hour.

Excellent customer service. Breakfast was abundant with lots of fresh fruit options. Room was cleaned daily was fresh bedding and towels. The area is vibrant and safe with a lot of food and shopping options. There is a mall just across the road.
