The hotel is located at a super good location, very near to the beach and walking distance restaurants. However, the receptionist was a bit rude and gave us a room we did not asked for and did not wanted to change us. The next morning I talked to the other recepcionist and they confirmed that they had made a mistake with my reservation but the hotel was fully booked and we couldnt move.

The room didn't look as posh as it did in the pictures. Aircon didnt didn’t work properly which made it uncomfortable to sleep given how humid the weather was. They even charged for water at checkout, which is meant to be complimentary in most places. Housekeeping however was super nice and friendly.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war enttäuschend und wir würden es nicht weiterempfehlen. Wir reisten als Familie und buchten zwei Executive-Suiten. Positiv sind die gute Lage (obwohl sich in der Straße hinter dem Hotel viele Obdachlose aufhielten), nur eine Straße vom Strand von Copacabana entfernt, das freundliche Personal und ein gutes Frühstück. Obwohl sich das Hotel in Renovierung befindet, hatten wir keine Beeinträchtigungen. Das Hauptproblem ist, dass die Zimmer nicht den Fotos auf der Website entsprechen. Beide wirkten alt, stark abgenutzt und in schlechtem Zustand. In einem Zimmer war der Türrahmen so beschädigt, dass man vom Hotelflur aus hineinsehen konnte. Die Matratze des Einzelbetts war defekt, die Federn deutlich spürbar und sichtbar. Zwar wurde sie schnell ausgetauscht, die beschädigte Matratze jedoch nicht entsorgt. Die Badezimmer haben keine Außenbelüftung und keinen funktionierenden Abluftventilator. Die Handtücher und Bettwäsche waren stark abgenutzt, vergilbt und teilweise ausgefranst. An einem Abend ließ das Reinigungspersonal die Fenster offen, wodurch das Zimmer voller Mücken war. Zusätzlich liehen wir ein Strandhandtuch, für das später 10 Reais berechnet wurden, ohne vorherigen Hinweis. Auch beim Flughafentransfer gab es Probleme: angekündigt waren 100 Reais, berechnet wurden 150 Reais plus Kartenzuschlag. Trotz guter Lage war der Aufenthalt insgesamt enttäuschend. Wir würden nicht wiederkommen.
Die beschädigte Matratze wurde unter dem Bett verstaut, anstatt entsorgt zu werden.
Hier ist der Zustand der Matratze sowie die Löcher, die sie hatte, deutlich zu erkennen.

A estadia no hotel foi muito agradável. Atendimento cordial, ambiente aconchegante e tudo muito bem cuidado e realmente nos sentimos bem recebidos. A única observação fica para o café da manhã, que achamos um pouco simples e com poucas opções. Com um pouquinho mais de variedade, tenho certeza de que a experiência ficaria ainda melhor. No geral, adoramos a hospedagem e certamente voltaremos.
