Staff is lovely and they do their best to maintain the place well, but that's hard to do when the initial builders cut so many corners. Hot water cuts out, dining room isn't quite big enough for the number of guests, light switches are a mystery, poorly assembled and/or cheap furniture, etc. As wonderful as the staff has been, the hotel needs to address some major quality issues, especially when it has so much potential with its location. Could easily be 5-star with some work.

The hotel was decent but requires immediate maintenance and upgrades. The furniture in the room was rusty, and there were stains on the carpet. However, the staff was excellent, with Lilian standing out for her exceptional room service. She ensured we always had fresh towels and that our room was thoroughly cleaned throughout our stay.

It had lots of ants in our room, the phone wasn’t working properly but the fixed both problems immediately!! Overall the hotel was nice and walkable to the beach & dining there’s a tourist guy who sits outside the property all day which was comfy!! It definitely can use a few minor updates to the hotel & the breakfast wasn’t the best also the rooms are really small..

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Hotel in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und super lecker. Einziger negativer Punkt war der Zustand unseres Zimmers. Teilweise beschädigte Gegenstände wie Duschkopf oder Toilettenpapierhalter der lose an der wand hing. Aber alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt.

Hotel está muito velho, mal cuidado e atendimento precário desde a recepção até o atendimento no quarto. Não forneceram nem toalha para irmos à praia, sendo que tinha 3 crianças pequenas juntos comigo.

Overall the hotel staff made all the difference. Hotel location is fantastic. Front Office agents Vinicius, Leonardo and Caio were excellent, professional and welcomed us every time we needed anything. Rogério our Bellman was also great and our housekeeping lady Lilian was the best, attentive and friendly from the first moment we met, making us feel at home. The property needs lots of TLC, our room’s balcony sliding door glass was cracked and the wall paper in the bathroom needs attention, it’s pealing from the wall. All metal parts of the room is rusty. The breakfast was great, standard food selection, the person at the omelette station was very pleasant, the waiters were rushed to remove plates from our table. One recommendation to the F&B team is to hire restaurant hosts to welcome guests arriving for breakfast so they could distribute the work load better. Nespresso coffee machines were faulty and required attention every morning. Most of the time, not working properly.

Localização maravilhosa mas quartos barulhentos

O hotel fica em uma região muito bonita da Barra da Tijuca. Logo na esquina tem vários restaurantes e barzinhos e a poucos metros tem um mercadinho, farmácia e barracas de praia atravessando a avenida. O café da manhã é espetacular. O que fica muito a desejar é o isolamento acústico dos quartos. Ouvíamos todo o trânsito da avenida Lúcio Costa que fica à frente do hotel, mesmo Durante a noite e no sábado e domingo o barulho da montagem da feirinha que acontece na pracinha ao lado do hotel incomoda bastante. Antes das 6h da manhã do domingo ouvimos muito barulho de bate estaca, que era para montagem das barracas da feirinha.

Quarto super sujo, cabelos (muitos) na mangueira do chuveiro, cama suja e estragada (sentava de um lado, levantava de outro, todos os móveis deteriorando. Reclamamos, trocaram o quarto, o outro também cheio de problemas, deteriorado. Um horror! Abrimos o armário, fios e caixa de eletricidade expostos. Quarto sem fechadura por dentro.

This is a great hotel it is modern and clean. The breakfast is amazing so much to choose from. The rooms are a good size. I had the partial sea view and it was a great view. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. The hotel is further out from the centre of Rio but if you want to be more chilled then this is good and you can easily get an Uber. The staff were very helpful. The location across from the beach is perfect and there are restaurants to walk to.
