"Slight hiccup initially of getting a room with car park view instead of a lake view room which I had booked and paid for in advance. But they changed the room on the second day of my stay (I stayed there for 3 nights in total). Food is good and the onsen was nice too . I also tried the private onsen which had a view of Mount Fuji on a clear day. The observatory on the roof top has a great view of the lake and Mount Fuji, which was nice "

"I loved the bath. It was so hot and steamy. The traditional Japanese rooms were exactly what I was looking for for my stay in Japan. As we were leaving, the sweet host gave us hot tea to warm our hands on our cold walk to the bud station. When I got to the bus the station, I realized I left my hat. Perfect hotel for exploring Tokyo
"Booked two single rooms, one each for myself and my son. The rooms were small, but well planned and contained everything that we needed for our 4 night stay including a small but well engineered bath/shower room. I got the impression that we weren’t paying for the ‘under-population’ of a large double room, whilst getting all that we needed from the smaller optimised room. The hotel itself has a friendly bar, and a spa and swimming pool. For the price I paid (c.£650 for two rooms) it was excellent value. It was also within 50 yards of the nearest subway station making it very easy to explore the city."
