Fuji Speedway Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

Fuji Speedway Hotel - The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of this beautiful hotel. Through the front doors, you walk past an amazing view of the automotive museum. The staff was welcoming, professional and thoroughly highlighted the property amenities and activities. The room was very clean, comfortable and stocked with whatever toiletries you may have left at home. The onsen was quiet, relaxing and easy to access. The rooftop had a fantastic view of the racetrack and Mt Fuji with a food menu. Not a full menu but a great option if your appetite isn't up for the main restaurant array of dishes."

La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko

La Vista Fuji Kawaguchiko

8/10 Good
"We booked last minute as we really wanted to stay at lake kawaguchi. There wasnt many options left for a family of 4 so we picked la vista. We booked the suite with 4 beds and a killer view of mt fuji and in suite bath w a picture window facing fuji. We had a 60 minute massage on site and it was awesome. Worth every penny. We didnt really care about the onsen so much but the public one is very nice. The location sits up on the hill so you jave to walk 5-10 minutes to the cafes which was no problem. We found so many amazing restaurants within 10 minutes. Highly highly recommend mimis café on the lake the garden is full of hydragea and roses. We loved renting bikes in town and riding all around town and the lake. We lucked out as our last day clouds cleared and fujisan showed himself! Overall we loved staying there. It was t our forst choice butThe room was very clean and nice size for my wife and I and our two teenagers. Id give it a strong 4 stars. We did not eat there as it seemed expensive and we like local places better. The hotel has kind of a French country vibe and seems in some parts a tad outdated imo and felt the lobby souvenior shop was a bit over the top BUT the views are amazing staff was great and room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our 2 nights there. The bathroom was 5 star!"

"I loved how clean and well maintained this property was. The rooms being itself was very spacious and we had a beautiful view of the lake across the street. Staff were very friendly and offer a ride services going to and from Kawaguchiko Station which was very helpful. It was also a short walk to Kawaguchiko Lake, My Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, and various convenience stores and restaurants. We were also served a large Japanese breakfast in the morning. I was traveling with someone with severe food allergies so was presently surprised by how thoughtful and accommodating staff was about alterations to the meal."
