"Got this room for the pool and it was closed the entire time. Breakfast was so minimal we just skipped it. The in room hot tub suite was wonderful. I probably would not stay here again but it’s not the worst place I’ve stayed. The girl at the front desk was so sweet but there was also a boy at the front desk who could not care less about his job or the customers. Enjoy the area, but if you’re debating between here or Mackinac island pick the island!! "

"The hotel is not a large building, but several smaller ones, with motel style rooms (they have a door outside). The property is a bit hilly and it is right next to the shore (albeit mostly rocks). There are some great views of Mackinaw Island! The room was clean but the shower/toilet part of the bathroom was small. The pool room is in the main office building and we decided to not use it (early May was cold). Breakfast was fine: typical hotel breakfast. Note to Best Western: individual milk cartons are a better option than the milk in the dispenser -- it was mostly empty. Staff was friendly. The room was just under $100, which is the best selling point. I thought it was fine but the family vetoed my opinion. In all, we will probably try another hotel next time."

"Nice inn. They were still setting things up for the season. Good place to stay but their emails were confusing w pricing info that did not align w info from Expefia. Charged me correctly but the confusion was significant."

"We got in late and had to be up and back on the road early, and was so sad we had a beautiful sunrise and view right outside our window,but had to go so only got to enjoy it for a moment.My only complaint was the bed was so high for my short legs.Would love to come back when we can enjoy it longer."
