"The staff are fantastic! Room is huge with great walk in shower! The balcony is awesome with a jacuzzi tub that, when working, is wonderful( did not work properly and no service ever showed up to fix). There are some things that need to be worked on for communication with non bilingual guests. We had an issue with transportation that created inconvenience and stress that was a result of security issues. It was handled well by staff when we reported it. Pools are nice the entertainment staff are fabulous Overall the family property is in need of upgrades however is still a value for what we paid I will only return to the adult only property as I did experience an unfortunate situation involving room next to ours! "

"What we loved! Bolivar, Angel, Victor, and all of the amazing staff who were focused on making us comfortable and happy. Wonderful people and a wonderful experience! The facilities are lovely. We were spoiled with great amenities, whether it was our roof top retreat with hot tub and cabana of the beautifully modern room! The grounds are gorgeous with a respectful separation between the adult and family areas, but with lots of crossover opportunities. I like the river pools with the islands. Lots of us got our exercise wandering the river, meeting and chatting with others. The food was widely varied and excellent quality! My wife loved the Kobuki restaurant and I loved Seaside. We only found Maeket place towards the end of our trip. Wonderful.not sure how we would have fit that buffet into our eating schedule. But we will work that out next time we are there. My favourite partner the trip was the assignment of a personal assistant to help us navigate the resort and related activities. If we had a question, ran into something we didn't understand or had a problem, Bolivar was there sorting things out. He even came in on his day off to see us off. A great representative of the Resort Make sure to recognize everyone who plays a role. Groundskeepers, pool concierge, housekeepers, bell staff, bartenders, chefs, service staff, and the hundreds that make a place like the Mirage possible. Say hi, learn a little Spanish, be respectful and you will have the best experience!"

"Restaurants are good. Just the reservation system needs to be improved - you need to line up at the booking desk between 9am-4pm to make reservation. Many guests don't look at the menu before lining up. They browsed through the menus at the desk one by one and then decide which restaurant to reserve on which night. This makes the wait time very long. They should implement reservation using their Melia App. And you may not be able to go to certain restaurants during your stay because their capacity and open hours are not enough to fulfill all the requests. The nightly entertainment was a big plus for our stay. However the day programs are not always on time. Sometimes you just wonder if it will "happen" or has been cancelled. The resort has a great courtesy allowing us who have a late flight to use their facilities and buffet after checking out. We enjoy ourselves a couple more hours before heading to the airport."

"Our room was very clean. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in. Staff was very helpful. Unlike other all inclusive resorts, the food was incredible and the drinks were not watered down. Janna was our concierge and she was amazing. Will definitely be booking Breathless again."

"Everything was good except the check in...we waited almost over hour to check in....i think to expedite check in they should hand any paoerwork that needs to be filled out ahead of time...maybe change the check in procedure...etc you loose almost half a day just to check in...."
