Fuga de agua en el tanque del sanitario, lo que significó un desperdicio de agua de manera contínua por varios días. En la regadera se ven espacios oxidados y mal selladas las tuberías. Con gusto regreso a Mérida y no a ese hotel. "

"The hotel has such a great relaxing vibe. It is a bit away from all the action which is a good thing because it can get noisy and busy in the heart of Merida. It is less than a 10 minute walk to the heart of the city and you can’t beat the pool area, dining area, and lovely lobby. "

"Getting to the hotel was easy and Check in was fine. Our issue began the following day when we didn’t have hot water to shower, the power went out completely and my sister in laws pajamas and nephews shirt went missing. We reported it and asked if it maybe had been taken with the linens during the outage and they said laundry was made through third party and would have to wait for them to check if they took it with the sheets . So we waited them to call which they didn’t do so we called and they said it was not found and they couldn’t do anything about it. The third day the tshirt was miraculously folded on the chair and yet the pajamas no where to be found. They didn’t want to give us the manager contact and said she was already aware but nothing could be done. Our rooms were not swept at all in 4 days either and her room was never restocked with coffee and just 1 water for 4 people. It wasn’t a great experience overall. "

"El hotel esta muy bien ubicado en el centro de merida, cerca de la plaza santa Lucia. Pero las instalaciones no son tan modernas, a las habitaciones les hace falta una renovacion. Seria bueno tambien que instalaran una zona con un microondas y mini refrigerador y un distribuidor de agua fria, caliente, le facilitaria mucho la vida a las familias con nin̈os pequen̈os. "

"Thew room I had was a simple one on the 2nd floor, basic but well kept and this hotel is all about the location and the lovely courtyard. The pool although small affords a refreshing dip on a warm day and some beautiful sunset skies late in the afternoon. This is a very sweet stay and walking distance to so many great restaurants and boutiques."

"The room temp was set by the hotel and could not be changed. So, I felt that the room was too warm for the Yucatan. And the water in the shower would not get warm"

"Our family had the most wonderful 3 nights at Mar Caribe. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind - especially to our little chihuahua! I’m so grateful that this luxe resort allows responsible dog owners to bring their pup. The buffet food was the best I’ve ever had at an all Inc’ - no need to go to the à la carte restos. The beach was glorious and very little sargassum except for one afternoon when a band washed ashore. Heavenly ocean swimming playing in the waves. A perfect 4 day break from the jungle 😊 Gracias Mar Caribe. And an extra thank you to Alberto at check-in and Carlos at the valet desk."
