The staircase could be difficult for some, as it's obviously an old one built when treads weren't as deep. Nicely set up room, though small in size. Would definitely stay there again! The only downside for me was lack of a soft pillow though flatter pillows appear to be more standard in the UK. Since we were early to arrive we were able to store our luggage at the associated bar a couple of doors up the street and James was nice enough to retrieve it and get it to our room while we enjoyed the friendly people and nice atmosphere there with good food and drinks. "
