"I’ll start by saying that I would have no problem going back to this property, BUT for me the cost didn’t align with the property and would likely be the reason I don’t go back. Everything is dated, everything. It was clean but didn’t have a clean feel, too many decades soaked into everything. Small things like shampoo/conditioner/body wash not being provided irks me cause of the cost to stay here. Rooms were pretty quiet which is a positive thing. The room was just drab, not bad but not good either, dated and mish-mash of odd choices of decor (some modern, some second-hand looking, no artwork, old yellowed wall paper, etc). The restaurant had odd hours but the food was decent enough, though overpriced, and of course a very dated look. The exterior is worn and drab, and has carpeted walkways outside that are not kept up. The pool and hot tub was nice, the game room was pathetic. The lake and paddle boats were nice. The area around the lake was very pretty with the landscaping. The observation tower is closed for renovations."
