Mountain View Grand Resort was incredible! We went in December, so it was a winter wonderland, and the Resort was full of holiday charm. The property is beautiful, clean, and has great amenities. The best part is the staff. We were only there a couple of days, but it felt like we had been there forever because of how engaging, helpful, and wonderful everyone was. You can have a great weekend getaway with friends and family here. I cannot wait to go back!

The rooms were lovely and spacious with nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. The lobby is welcoming with a nice gas fireplace and big bar area. The Tavern is middling (stick with fries & burgers!), and the breakfast buffet is disappointing. If the cost of breakfast is not included in your room, do yourself a favor and skip the $20+ buffet and drive a mile down the road to Grandma's kitchen for a fabulous, much cheaper breakfast! The grounds of the hotel are lovely and our kids LOVED going to the farm out back to pet the goats, llamas and donkeys. The pool was great for the kids, and parking was easy. We enjoyed our winter stay (almost everyone at the hotel was there to go to Santa's Village!), and would like to come back and enjoy the summer offerings. The only drawback is the lack of good food options in the area, you feel stuck eating at the hotel tavern, which is mediocre.

We only stayed for 1 night and didn’t get there until about 6pm. We will definitely be back, as the hotel and grounds were beautiful. The hotel was clean, our room was spacious and the staff were very helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool.

This property is so beautiful! I am here with my adult daughter and grandson enjoying a beautiful petting zoo and grounds. The gardens are gorgeous. The hotel is just so special.

Parking was far from door when busy but bell person helped us. Excellent menu for dinner but breakfast was only a buffet and coffee area inside the gift shop was not open when we left. Older bathrooms but nice. Needs more bedside tables.

The Mountainview Spa and Resort grounds are beautifully maintained. From the breathtaking views to the Adirondack chairs and fall mums of the covered porch, it is a memorable experience. I would give it a 5 star review, but the king size bed's mattress was a huge let down. It had a 24 X 24 circular cut out with no stuffing on the right side of the bed. I have noticed this issue at other mountain resorts, where mattress comfort seems to be an afterthought.

The hotel does have a lot of charm and potential. There were numerous areas that needed maintenance and a good sweep. The view from the very large porch is beautiful however there were dirty dishes and towels and food that needed to be cleaned up in a timely manner. Same for the pool area and game room.

Property and surrounding area is stunning. Food was just ok. Rooms and hallways really need a good scrubbing and updating. Carpet is old and dingy. Doors to rooms are chipped and need repainting as well as the walls. Entire building is very dimly lit, which is fine but when you are in your room trying to get ready, the bathroom light needs to be much brighter. All the floors are very uneven. Nothing is level so if you put anything on a table or counter it rolls off. All in all, it’s ok. The spa was amazing!!!

Our favorite place to visit

Great location. Many nice amenities including restaurant and bar on site, lots of activities, pool. Hot tub is no longer, not sure why. Spa on site is fantastic. Staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
