Boutique hotel with complimentary mini bar, complimentary happy hour with complimentary wines, which were excellent! Rooms are spacious, pricing very affordable. Onsite parking, 3 mins walk to the Snow Centre. All round excellent stay.

Lovely Botique Hotel

Honeymoon Stay

Great stay on our honeymoon, the hotel went the extra mile with wine, sweet treats and a lovely note. Happy hour was great, wine, beer, soft drinks and yummy meats and cheeses 5-6pm. Great location, only downside is lack of free parking/only 4 spaces but payable parking is nearby so nothing drastic.

Very cute little hotel that was walking distance to everything in Queenstown but still quiet at night. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and hot tub a lot. The staff were kind and helpful and did some much needed laundry for us.

A charming little hotel just minutes to the city center, yet a bit away from the hustle and bustle on a hill near the gondola. The staff was fantastic. We had a lovely 4-night stay and would certainly stay there again if we have occasion to visit Queenstown again.

This little oasis was close to the city center, but far enough away to be peaceful. So much to do within walking distance!!! The staff was helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.

The Dairy Private Hotel was our favourite accommodation of our whole south island trip. The staff were the most helpful, gave us a tour of all the amenities upon arrival, made sure we were well looked after and even gifted us a treat for our honeymoon! They do a happy hour 5-6pm each day and put out snacks and wine for the guests to enjoy in the lounge. Breakfast was simple and of excellent quality. The art deco theme of the hotel made us love returning to it after a day of sightseeing. The only con is the parking situation - there's not a lot of it at the hotel and it costs extra. However, they do have extra spots in the multi level carpark on Man St that we were able to use for the same cost.

Lovely hotel and highly recommend. Hot tub was fantastic and loved all the lovely attention to detail. We kind of missed happy hour as we didn’t know about it but got the last ten mins and looked fab. Think there was complimentary hams and cheeses etc which would have been a yummy treat. Great hotel, right in the heart of Queenstown. We didn’t realise you need to let them know ahead of booking if you need a parking space but wasn’t an issue for us. It does cost an additional $20, not a negative but just something to be aware of.

Happy hour! Free wine, beer and snacks each day between 5 & 6 PM. Close to everything. Short walk to the Kiei Park where we got see 4 kiwi at close quarters, and other New Zealand birds and the Tuatara. Also the chairlift is close as well as a short walk to the centre of Queenstown and its foreshore. There is a bit of a hill, but careful planning of our path minimised this. There is a nice cosy lounge which gives it a homely feel. Rooms are well appointed if a little small, but hanging out in the lounge ameliorated this , and at happy hour we got to meet new people.

The Dairy Private Hotel was the perfect location, just a block from the gondola, a couple blocks from the Center for all my tour pick ups, and also center of town for shopping and dining. Location was important to me as a solo traveler. No need to take an Uber anywhere. It was more like a bed and breakfast hotel with it's warm and cozy charm. Breakfast was included. They also have daily wine and cheese happy hour around the living room fire place, where I met and chatted with many nice travelers from all over the world. The staff was exceptional and my room was clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.
