We booked this because so many posts about it having a great view for the price. Unfortunately, we thought we were getting a room with the great view it showed in the pictures, but in reality, because of the room type we booked - kitchenette - we got a room on the lowest floor. The view was still good but the balcony is smaller so doesn’t allow space for sitting on it. The good news is we ended up being there for only one sunset, and we can easily transport our luggage from the patio down down the outside stairs to our car - parking was between our room and the lake. The place is dated but rooms are large and we were able to dry our clothes we washed in the sink using the hai dryer and finishing with towel warmer while out and about. Washer and dryer very close to our room also. There is supposed to be a key fob to let you between 8p and 8a but the door was always unlocked during our 3 night stay. We accidentally left a window on our car open one night and had no problems. Very safe and convenient to get downtown via walk (one steeper hill) or drive. Could also do bus but we didn’t do that.
