"Hotel Monticello is one of the nicest hotels in Tagaytay. Because it's new, the room condition is much better than the other hotels in Tagaytay and it's relatively cheaper too.

"Rooms are clean and spacious. You can really sleep comfortably with their clean linens. You can bring in and cook food . Lacking kitchen appliances though like kettle, microwave , oven toaster. Cooking stove we had has 1 burner working, the other is useless :( That was time consuming working on a single burner. "Late check-in fees even tho we told them ahead of time that our late flight was delayed further past midnight due to severe weather. Parking was a headache! Check-out was just as bad. We had to wait for someone to check rooms to get cash deposit back."

Hotel didnt have our reservation so we didnt get the room expected until the following day. However, they did provide rooms (single) the first night. No discount was offered. One other negative, the 2nd common bathroom didnt have hot water."
