Beach Hotels in Punta Sam, Quintana Roo

"The property is very nice. The experience just wasn’t for us. When we checked in we were immediately bombarded by a polite but aggressive sales pitch to do a day trip with a discount if you watch another sales pitch. We were so tired after traveling, didn’t love that. The room was nice but the property was very noisy. Drunk people being loud very late. Later realized the little strip was missing under the door which would have helped with noise. While it’s inclusive, you still have to sign for every meal and the tip associated with doing that is based on what the meal “would have cost.” Resulted in very large tips if you’re not paying attention. Just a lot of pressure to spend money at every turn, which negates the point of all inclusive in my opinion. People put towels on the pool chairs at early hours so it’s hard to find anywhere to sit if you sleep til 7:00. Of course the chairs are mostly empty all day but for the towels saving them. Long lines for every meal. Food was pretty but not actually tasty- very mass produced. In sum, this just wasn’t for us, but other people seemed quite happy."

"Outstanding service! Luxurious and welcoming! Beautiful white sand beach, gorgeous view. I enjoyed many of the fun activities including pool Zumba, candle making, beach yoga, and sound healing. Nightly entertainment was first class—many different styles of music (vocal and instrumental), dance, magic, even a circus above and around the main pool! We ate in almost all of the restaurants and the food was awesome! Already planning a return visit in 2027! "
