The place is amazing. Quite and nicely located close to the few bars and restaurants available in Furnas. Would definitely recommend to stay here if you're looking for a place with great hospitality

Worlds Nests far exceeded our expectations. The views, the sweet garden and babbling water, just exquisite. The staff was friendly, helpful and generous. The breakfast spread was tasty with great options. You could stay here much longer. They also have great bikes right onsite!

Secluded oasis

We really enjoyed the private and secluded location, which is still within easy walking distance to town. The room was huge, so dark and quiet. AC worked well. Breakfast room was lovely. We did not use the living room for sleeping, but a warning that it would be less comfortable to sleep there because the AC doesn't reach and the pull out sofa is a small trundle bed. Maybe ok for a child.

I was looking for some respite and a place where I had easy access to hiking, the hot springs, and restaurants. I had a two day stay in Furnas before i headed home to the States. I arrived early and lucky for me one of the apartments was available. Not only that, they have me breakfast. The property is so beautifully laid out where you can hear the birds as you relax on one of outside chairs or in your room where an entire wall is made up of windows overlooking the hills. The apartment was pristine with kitchen, tablewares, wine, and refrigerator. I would have stayed longer but this was the tail end of my trip. They had electric bicycles onsite. The town was an easy 10 minute walk and a 15 minute walk to one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the world: Parque Terra Nostra. The owner, his family and his staff, Patricia are very welcoming. I highly recommend their place for solo travelers and families.

Wonderfully designed and very eco-friendly. A unique and peaceful experience. So close to walk to the lovely village of Furnas. Getting to use the bikes was special bonus. Delicious breakfast and kind hosts.

This property is absolutely beautiful, with a running creek that you hear and lush landscape as you look out the front of your pod that is all windows! The pod itself is beautiful as well and so clean, with tiled floors, modern amenities and decor, a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove and sink. You are welcomed with a bottle of wine, fresh water and a snack! The only area that I would say could use a little upgrade would be the mattress. It definitely was ok and we slept well, but be we would have loved a little more cushion, as well as support. The staff was so friend and helpful. Patrice and Tatiana were so kind. The both spoke Portuguese and English and provided a delicious continental breakfast. The breakfast was more than we expected served between 8:30 and 10 am in the dining room with an expresso machine, cheeses, meats, pastries, breads, pancakes, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, fresh juices and eggs made to order. The property itself is gated, so you feel safe and secure as well as keeping it quiet. They also have bicycles that you are allowed to use at no additional cost. It definitely was a little piece of heaven and I'm we were so happy to spend 5 nights there at the end of our trip on São Miguel!

The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was too cold and small. They only have one heater. We were there the end of November. I did not like the bathroom and the kitchen much, maybe the outlay and did not have enough equipment for cooking. There is no washing machine in the room. You needs to pay and ask the staff. It is very silent area.

Tout était parfait, plus que ce à quoi on s’attendait. Petit déjeuner très varié et hébergement très moderne. On a profité des vélos sur place ( très grande variété de vélos de montagne) pour aller se promener aux alentours. Vraiment extraordinaire. J’y retournerais n’importe quand.

The view of the nature is simply stunning, beautiful sounds of birds surrounding this place and most amazing night sky in your backyard that you can enjoy any time there's clear sky in the night. What's disappointing was the check in experience, there was no one welcoming us except for the cleaning lady who didn't speak English, which wasn't a problem - the owner didn't communicate to us properly how the check in is done. Overall, despite very few disappointments, it's probably the best place to stay in Furnas if you're ok with it not being a hotel (they don't have usual housekeeping service).
