Fantastic relaxing vacation. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurant options and stores within a very short walk. Food and beverages fairly pricey at the hotel but delicious. Would highly recommend!!

This is one of those properties you hesitate to give a great review- only because you don’t want it to become so popular that you can’t get a reservation. But, I want the staff to prosper so I will tell you that it’s beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt so relaxed. And, that was after a red eye from Boston. The property is incredibly beautiful - the gardens, the outdoor restaurant (with live music), the thermal springs, the spa. Every detail was perfect! So clean, too! And, the staff was always accommodating and helpful. Great location for exploring Sao Miguel. Amazing breakfast! Easy parking. 10 out of 10! We will definitely be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff is excellent and the grounds are stunning. We really enjoyed the hot springs & thermal pool, especially being able to use them after the public hours end. Looking forward to our next visit here!

Terra Nostra Garden Hotel is located on the absolutely stunning Terra Nostra Park. Guests have this park to themselves before the park opens and after it closes. That is what made our stay so magical. The terrace that overlooks the park was beautiful and in the evening the live music was lovely. We had amazing pina colada drinks and burgers there and they were amazing. However, the breakfast buffet was underwhelming. The cozido lunch that is supposed to be one of the best in Furnas was dry and overcooked. for what we paid to stay there per night, the service at the hotel was not what I expected. Worse, some of the breakfast and lunch staff were borderline rude. For what we paid per night, that is unacceptable.

We had a great stay at Terra Nostra! Staff were incredible, so nice and accommodating. We had a delicious dinner at TN restaurant. The breakfast buffet was included with the stay and was amazing, you could also order omelets, lattes and GF pastries. After 5pm the hot springs are only for hotel guests and we took advantage of that every night! The attached gardens were amazing and we took many long walks admiring the beauty. You can also walk right outside of the hotel into town and find shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful hotel with spacious comfortable room. Choice of restaurants and lovely bar serving great food indoors or out.Adjacent to the most wonderful gardens - towels and bath robe provided to use the thermal pool. Good parking on site and central town location. indoor pool and spa facilities. Staff wee very helpful on arrival and available to answer all our queries about the area. Highly recommend.

This art deco hotel was beautiful and unique. Access to the thermal pools after the public hours was wonderful. We were the only people under a full moon. Magical. Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful gardens and decor of hotel was great, particularly enjoyed thermal pools and the bar. Only disappointing part was we missed two days of our stay due to delays with flights so ended up losing out on a considerable amount of money. We did however get engaged in the gardens here during our stay so we will hopefully return in future to relive the moment!
