"Clean room with everything I needed. Furniture in the room could do with an upgrade, some of it looked quite tired and old although this didn’t affect the stay. Nice to be able to book and have exclusive use of the pool"

"Check in and reception brilliant, very helpful. Superior room booked and was huge and well fitted out. There is a pool, jacuzzi, sauna facilities with free towels . Parking was easy. The restaurant & bar was well managed by Will who couldn’t do enough for you. The main town is a 20 mon walk if your fit but there are some serious up/downhill routes which would require a taxi or vehicle for those with any issues."

"Great location with great sea views. Room was quite small but was perfectly sufficient for our one night stay. Also, very clean and everything needed was available. Breakfast was good value but not well organised. Overall a comfortable stay and we would definitely stay again.."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Lugger. My Dad is terminally ill and frail. He spent many summers as a boy in Portloe and one of his final wishes was to return for a holiday. Four of us from 3 generations went to stay. From the moment i spoke to the team there about the booking to the moment we left they couldn’t have been more accommodating or understanding. Every member of staff went the extra mile to help him. It was a fantastic weekend to relax and enjoy the hotel and the area with several great meals, good wine and fantastic breakfasts. It all made my dad so happy and created great memories for us all. I highly recommend and just want to say thank you. "
