"It’s a traditional /relatively simple guest house but what makes it very very special is Katie and the rest of the staff. They are the loveliest people. Katie got me out of a few pickles during my stay there. Very convenient location for beach, station and town. Couldnt be any better. You dont need a car at all. Rooms facing the road is a bit loud with traffic in the early morning so bring some earplugs. And of course the room was very clean. Freshly cooked breakfast was really nice, much better than a soulless buffet u normally get at a hotel where the food sits there for who knows how long. Thank you Katie + family."

"The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much.ch trouble. The food was excellent, a highlight being breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view out to sea. The bedroom was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom as well."

"Just returned from a three night stay, everything was as great as it could be, helpful friendly people, nothing was too much trouble. Our only criticism is their sister hotel could do with some staff training, service was as good as being at fawlty towers. However idle rocks was perfect !!"
