"Attended a wedding at Hensol Castle and stayed the night at The Vale. The shuttle buses between both venues offer a great service. The room was lovely and had everything you would need. And the bed was huge! I didn’t get the chance to eat at the Vale but my family did the night before and said food was great. "

"Wonderful staff. Huge bedroom and bathroom. Bathroom needed renovation but was spotless. Delicious breakfasts, great choice on offer and all freshly cooked. Dinner was equally good and again wonderful service. Would stay again 😊"

"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."

"I'm in a wheelchair so requested an accessible room. One of the best/most accessible rooms i've stayed in. There is a big wide ramp out front with plenty of disabled parking. Room was large and open for maneuvering and bathroom had a sink, shower and toilet setup that was well thought out and simply just worked. I even used the pool which had a lift for disabled folks to get in/out. Had a great stay and a great time. Lovely friendly people and very helpful. My wife even pulled the bathroom emergency response by accident (looking for the bathroom light switch in the dark) and there were 2 staff members at my room inside 2 minutes to check on me. They weren't even annoyed, just happy nothing was wrong. They even had me fill out a form at check-in to address the plan in case of emergency/fire procedures when elevators would be shutdown. We agreed a plan and i got a say and signed it. I was very impressed with the whole setup. Would definitely stay again in the future. Starbucks in the lobby was a plus :-) "

"Spacious clean rooms and very friendly staff what else would one need? Washrooms could use a vanity upgrade and maybe hooks for towels but otherwise fabulous hotel. "

"I've stayed at this hotel many times and this was my fourth visit this year, facilities are superb, beach and marina within touching distance, city centre just a few minutes walk away, great location for the Mumbles and all the beaches in the Gower."
