"I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! "What a great find this was.... Originally I was looking for a nice hotel for the night as a little treat with my partner. Due to the Take That performing at Swansea.Com Stadium the same night. Hotel prices were sky high, nearly all had over doubled in price, some asking £400+. Than out of the blue I find this beauty..... Absolutely stunning views as far as the eye can see all round. "Lovely night staying in The Vale Resort staff were very friendly and helpful. Room wasn't ready but we arrived before check in time but had plans and needed to get ready. The staff said we could use the dry changing rooms, these were immaculate and perfect for me to change and do hair and makeup. Room was ready 15 minutes later and had time to have a quick drink in the bar before our night in Cardiff for a concert. Returned to the hotel and the bar was open and then ordered room service were we enjoyed lovely, freshly made sandwiches accompanied with slaw and crisps the perfect end to our lovely evening. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast lots on offer and all delicious. Staff were great, explaining about our choice of breakfast and showing us the juice and offering tea and coffee. Unfortunately we didn't have time for a swim or spa but we will definitely return in the future. Check out was easy and friendly. All in all a great time. Thank you "
