"The grounds of the Mae’s Manor are beautiful. The staff were friendly. The hotel itself is very dated and in need of new paint and furniture. Our shower had no pressure and some mold. The towels and sheets were nice and clean though."

"We had such a lovely welcome but there it ends apart from breakfast which was ok. Staircase carpet to room awful odour and dirty, that unfortunately increased when we entered room 301. Room and bathroom smell and cleanliness awful. No mattress or pillow protectors and just not clean. If you’re the owner sort out housekeeping, spend a bit of money on some deep cleaning, revamp breakfast menu and educate staff on basic cleaning (check the espresso machine) and you’ll be good to go."

"Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel."
