I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. Clean room although cleaners tried to come in on our last morning before check out time. Dud apologise. Breakfast was good although sometimes a little tight on the coffee. Toast machine under does the toast on first pass, burns it on 2nd. Staff ok but a smile wouldn’t go amiss

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, cosy and modern. Everything we needed for a long weekend away, the welsh cakes and fresh milk we found on arrival were a fantastic welcome. The car park was a stones throw away and very reasonably priced. We will definitely book again.
