"We have stayed here on previous trips to the island and this is one of my absolute favourite hotels, anywhere, comfortable in all respect’s, understated, unpretentious luxury. Also very close to all that Ponta Delgada has to offer, would thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"The first problem, tight street the taxi couldn’t go down street. Dropped us off at the top and told us we had to walk down a cobblestone road rolling our suitcases. No elevator. Had to carry suitcases up 3 flights of stairs. But beautiful room once we made it up there. "

"We had a nice stay at this property. We had a standard room which was small but adequate. Our main gripe was that the bed was tiny. The hotel advertises it as a double but we found it very small, and we are not big people. Why can't hotels provide bigger beds?? There's lots of space to accommodate them. Having said that, the facilities in the room were good. There was a safe, a fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. Coffee pods were replaced daily when used. The bathroom was large with a tub...

"We recently stayed at Quinta dos 10 on Azores Island and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The property is in excellent condition and very spacious. The guest service was exceptional, with the owners going above and beyond to make our stay easy, comfortable, and enjoyable. The place was spotless and well-maintained, showing the care and attention given to every detail. Ana and her husband are the best hosts we could have asked for. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home....

"I stayed at Hotel Solar do Conde and, unfortunately, the experience was not what I had hoped for. The biggest issue was the bed: the “double” was only 137 cm wide, which feels more like something from generations ago than a modern hotel standard. For a stay in 2025, it was surprisingly small and uncomfortable, especially for two adults. On a positive note, the buffet breakfast was quite nice, with a decent variety and good quality. "Perfect seaside accomodation. Clean, modern, spacious for two people. Close to one beach and one swimming area. Rear entrance facing the ocean, easy access to the ocean. Nice hot tub in terrace. Quiet neighbourhood. There are two good restaurants on the same block and many more within walking distance. Ponta Delgada city centre is a 5min drive away. The host team is fantastic, very helpful and prompt. We loved our stay and book again. "
