"Very difficult to drive out of on a tiny narrow road, quite nerve racking as you can have a head on crash if your not careful! The cottage itself was nice but there was a lot of mould in the bathroom, spiders and spider webs in every corner, mould near the window in the master bedroom and the dryer didn’t work because half way through the cycle it came up with “call the technician error code” which was very disappointing as we had lots and lots of washing to do and couldn’t dry it. "What an amazing place! Set in beautiful gardens and full of wildlife! Beautiful accommodation and so nice to be able to walk around all the gardens! The Japanese garden was our favourite! Also the cakes and coffee in the cafe are lovely! "

"Obwohl wir ein anderes Zimmer gebucht hatten, bekamen wir ein Barriere freies Rollstuhl Zimmer und Bad. Dort wurde bestimmt seit zwanzig Jahren nichts mehr erneuert. Der Geruch war fürchterlich. "A great place to stay. Very relaxing and peaceful with a small lake. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We stayed in one with a hot tub which was great. In the daylight it feels like it will be overlooked but when it is dark it felt quite private as other places near us didn’t have hot tubs so people weren’t outside. Close to Padstow and the A30, so easy to get to lots of places. We will definitely return"

"Wonderful…smiles from all the staff when they see you and everyone is happy to help in any way.
The night Porter was very helpful and friendly, the reception team couldn’t do enough and the breakfast staff went the extra mile!
We forgot our robes from the room but the spa team were kind and gave us spares.
The spa isn’t quite as opulent as the photos, but the service more than makes up for it,
Comfy beds, great shower, delicious breakfast all in a beautiful setting.
Highly recommend for a stay in Cornwall, with easy access the south coast. Will be recommending to friends and family "

"Our stay overall was excellent except on the first morning when the lady serving breakfast was quite abrupt. Our room was spotless as was the en suite. Breakfast and dinner had a varied menu and again both excellent. Free parking on site and an easy walk to the town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel for their high standards and friendly staff."

"Fabulous view of the sea and easy walk to the city centre. There is a beautiful view from the bar and restaurant and I enjoyed one of their many spa massage treatments. The staff in the bar and housekeeping were also exceptional. The room was a bit warm but they do provide fans. I would definitely come back and stay at this hotel. "
