"Very friendly front desk staff. Check-in was smooth and easy. I booked a different style room this time and I was very impressed. Only one small issue was the refrigerator wasn't very cold. I didn’t complain because it was good enough. Super clean room and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. AC cooled the room quickly. I will definitely stay there again my next visit. Two visits in April were 5 stars. Loved it there. Thank you!"

"The hotel room I had was very small compared to the photo. The HVAC fan in my room was loud, there was no fan in the bathroom to ventilate the humidity because of the shower. The towels were old, hard, and the shower mat small and terrible. Every time my girlfriend walked into the bathroom, she said there was a urine smell which was more than likely from a previous person who used the room and may have missed the bowl. I had a difficult time sleeping at night. The rooms are supposed to be soundproof but besides the HVAC fan, I could hear when anyone beside, below or above my room flushed a toilet. I could also hear people in the hallway talking, doors closing, etc. The window in the room was drafty and I could hear the traffic passing on the roadway at night. The gym equipment is old. The weight machine cables have been stretched and should be replaced. When I was swimming in the pool, I noticed black mold in the tile grout so I would question the proper use of chemicals being used to treat the water. I would also question if the tile grout was sealed properly or if the grout is resealed annually. The food was good although on a Sunday afternoon, my girlfriend and I had a late lunch with coffee. It seemed as if the coffee was left in the pot for a long time and tasted terrible which is like a cardinal sin to serve bad coffee in Colombia. Overall, I was very disappointed for the amount of money I paid for staying at a property that is supposed to be a five star hotel. "

"Hotel Du Parc I recently stayed at Hotel Du Parc in Medellín, and overall it delivered a really comfortable, upscale experience with a boutique feel. From the moment I arrived, the staff stood out—professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Check-in was smooth, and they made sure I had everything I needed right away. The hotel has a quieter, more refined atmosphere compared to larger chain hotels, which I appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with a modern layout and high-end finishes. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the soundproofing was solid—I was able to relax and get good rest even though the hotel is located near the lively El Poblado area. The kitchenette setup was a nice bonus, especially for longer stays. One of the highlights was the location. It’s tucked just far enough away to feel calm, but still within walking distance of great restaurants, cafés, and nightlife. That balance made it easy to enjoy Medellín without dealing with constant noise or congestion. Amenities were solid as well—the spa area and gym added to the experience, and the on-site dining options were convenient and well-executed. Overall, Hotel Du Parc is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, modern, and well-located stay in Medellín with excellent service. I’d definitely stay here again."
