"The privilege twin room I booked was excellent in terms of amenities (ironing board and iron, kettle and tea stuff, fridge (complimentary water and Pepsis), Nespresso machine and capsules, bathrobes and slippers, and decor. The only critical comment I would say is that the room was very warm at night and the fridge was placed inside a cupboard and not ventilated so it was also overheated and contributed to the temperature in the room. There were a few negatives: there is no lift and the stairs are steep, the toilet seat was too small for the base and it was not fastened properly. "Brilliant stay. The hotel and grounds are lovely. When we arrived at the room we had an issue in that the flush was broken and could not be fixed. The staff were incredibly helpful and moved us to an upgraded room. The onsite restaurant is lane and well furnished; the food is generally good. The gym is very good and well equipped; and the sauna/pool are nice. Will definitely think about returning here for another stay!"
