"Check in staff were friendly and being offered a cookie each after a long day was a nice touch. I personally found the pillows to be way too soft for my liking which resulted in a not so settled sleep, however the mattress was very comfortable. Went swimming in the morning with our little one and were informed on arrival that children were only allowed in the pool until 10am. We'd arrived at about 9.30 and were planning a good hour long swim, we'd not been informed prior that this was the case...

"Lovely hotel nice rooms staff really nice. There was a wedding in which did mean music until late that you can hear the booming of in the bedroom and later drunk people on corridors being loud and In car park raised voices due to too much drink. I would stay again 100% as loved the hotel but would check to ensure no functions as too noisy with music till late then drunk people that aren’t considerate of other guests "

"It was a decent, comfortable stay. The bathroom smelled a bit funny upon my arrival though. Some improvements that could be made: It's a bit ironic that there are door hanger signs talking about skipping daily cleans to save the natural resources, but there were single-use disposable paper cups and wooden coffee stirrers in the rooms, which seems to me that it's just about the company saving their costs, and not the environment. It would be great if the cafe/restaurant menus were provided...

"The guys at reception gave a warm welcome and helped with the bags to our room. Room was basically fine however the kettle could have done with a better clean. Decoration of the room was a little tired, but probably fine for most guys. The full English Breakfast was very good, well cooked and quality produce. "The hotel room felt high quality, everything from the sheets to the shower were very nice. What makes this property exceptional are the staff. They are incredibly helpful for the smallest requests and very kind. As i went for breakfast, one staff member noticed me avoiding me the meat and offered me vegetarian sausages. Another had assured me that all the meat was halal at the restaurant. It was these perceptive staff that truly made my stay enjoyable. The staff member named Liza was amazing."
