"We were 3 of only 5 people in the hotel so services were at a bare minimum, which sucked for us. The place looked fresh and new, which is hard to do as things age quickly in Vietnams climate. "This hotel likely had not been stayed at in at least a year. The owner was also not aware we were coming after we had made the Expedia booking. He was very kind and made it work, but this hotel, as well as the entire neighborhood around it, is completely run down and looks as if the town was shut down a decade ago. "The service here was top notched and everyone was very friendly. Even though our flight was delayed by one day due to rasaga typhoon in Hong Kong the hotel staff Jennie, was able to accommodate us and work with our new schedule. They also helped us plan our tour in ninh binh. The morning breakfast buffet was good as well. The location here is convenient for tour pick up and centrally located for food. We got the balcony room and it was a pleasant experience to be able to enjoy the view outside. Overall, we had a great experience and would stay here again in the future. "
