"I would book there again, Staff were friendly and did accommodate us when we wanted the exercise room opened a few minutes early than posted. Some equipment could use a refresh. The rooms were well-kept and clean and the AC worked fine. The breakfast was fresh with a broad range of options. The view over the shoreline are great and there is a little beach nearby (although not really usable due to the seaweed this year). "Perfection in this place’s simplicity. It was an idyllic vacation spot. Walking distance to the village but removed enough to be ultra peaceful. The free parking, pool and breakfast were all a huge plus. We were surprised how close we were to the boardwalk walking trails and really cool cave hikes. Sunsets galore and wonderful restaurants and shops near by. Loved it!"

"Second visit, but not as good as the first. Staff remain fabulous ( perhaps the odd grumpy face at breakfast) but the majority just can’t do enough for you. The pool area had the most awful music (quite loud bass beat) bashing out for the first 3 days, which ruined it for us. The average age of the hotel guests is probably 60-80 years, so many people were not happy. Pool side very busy towards the end of the week, unlike last time, but apparently there is a music festival on this weekend ( Oct 3rd) so try to miss these dates if you want peace and quiet. The location is perfect if you want to wander down to the town or out to the restaurants. Very clean. No hot drinks in the room, which I missed in the mornings. We may revisit, but not for a few years."

"I had a wonderful stay at Vale d'El Rei Hotel & Villas. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally clean, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Everything was well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was especially impressive, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The location is a little away from the main road, so having a car is definitely recommended, but that also gives the hotel a quiet and relaxing setting away from the crowds. Overall, everything was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again."
