Also the weather was changing and although the heating came on at 5pm and was very effective, arriving back at 4pm from the wet and cold outside the room was decidedly cool. Recognise this is a difficult balance... We had an okay meal on first night and a great breakfast on the first morning but really felt the price of food and drink was excessive and ate elsewhere in the village for the rest of our stay enjoying equally good food for around 20% less"

"Firstly Kirsty (although not the owner) is so lovely so friendly and a GREAT chef! We can’t speak highly enough of Kirsty she is a credit to the hotel. Our dog Buddy loved his breakfast sausage also each morning and we loved our breakfast another huge positive for the breakfast here. The dining area / communal seating area appeared very dated and could do with a face lift / refresh. The shower was extremely small in the room we stayed in, but overall it was a pleasure to stay here, we felt safe, we had a comfy bed and as mentioned Kirsty was so lovely looking after us during our time here Very close to Nefyn Golf club which is literally incredible - great views for dog walking and an unbelievable place to play golf. Shops, beach and pub also close by, safe and free parking and just a great reasonably priced place to stay in the north of Wales"
