"The staff was so incredibly nice and helpful. The property had beautiful views of the sunset and it was cliffside. The rooms were made special and perfect for us. We celebrated our engagement at this property and they more than exceeded our expectations.
Wonderful staff and rooms highly recommend!"
"Suarga would have to offer one of the best sunset views in the Uluwatu area. It’s easy to see why so many people come just for a sunset drink — the atmosphere is incredible and the views are spectacular.
The breakfast was fresh, healthy, and a great way to start the day. Throughout my stay, all of the food and drinks were delicious and exceeded expectations.
A few minor improvements could make the experience even better. The shower took around three minutes for the hot water to come through, and the room was quite noisy from nearby traffic, particularly at night. The bathroom lighting was also quite dim, making it difficult to get ready, and an additional mirror in the bedroom would be a welcome addition.
Overall, this is a beautiful resort with stunning views, excellent food, and a unique atmosphere. The location and sunset experience alone make it well worth a visit, and I would happily stay here again."
"Do not book this hotel under any circumstances. The photos are completely misleading.
Our room had a strong musty, mould-like and sewage-like smell. We were moved and upgraded, but the same issue continued. I had throat and lung irritation during the night and we checked out the next morning. This was our honeymoon, and the experience was awful.
The rooms felt damp, unhealthy and badly maintained. There appeared to be black mould on the curtains, and when I opened them, residue stained my hands and I had to wash them twice. The toilets were broken in both rooms we were shown.
Breakfast was terrible and basically inedible. It tasted like reheated leftovers. At the rooftop bar, we waited around 45 minutes to be served despite several staff standing around, and the prices were around three times higher than normal.
After leaving, I read other reviews alleging rat problems at the property, including one claim that a rat crawled on a guest while they slept. Based on what we experienced, sadly, that does not surprise me.
The staff were polite, but the property itself is in shocking condition. Avoid, especially if you have asthma, allergies, chest sensitivity, or any concern about mould, hygiene or air quality."
"Great service with friendly and polite staff. They took note of my birthday and celebrated for me during breakfast time. Overall, stay was pleasant and great. Only downside was mosquitoes in the room for two nights and we had difficulties sleeping"
"Beautiful location with amazing views of the ocean. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff were beautiful, and so helpful. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, was usually cold every morning, and because I am such a fussy eater did not like the breakfast buffet very much, which had a lot of Indonesian food, which I do not like, but I am very fussy with food. They still served eggs anyway you wanted them cooked, had fruit and cereals so still had a good size breakfast every morning (just mentioning this for those people who are fussy like me). The only issue we had with the accommodation, was the shower being in the bath, the bath was very high and there were no handrails to hold on to get in and out of the bath. Consequently, my husband slipped getting out of the bath and fractured 3 ribs. This is fine for younger people but we are in our 60s and not as limber as we used to be. We reported this to the staff and the same afternoon, they had installed to handrails in the shower, which we were very grateful for. We also had access to a doctor at the hotel. Overall a lovely place to stay."
