"Spa was excellent. Loved the variety of steam/sauna rooms and pools. The outdoor pool was great and the indoor one with the glass stained roof was amazing. So chilled and relaxing. The hotel room was very spacious. Staff were friendly. The Darwin’s Bar was cosy and welcoming. We had two cocktails which were very well made. Only let down was the restaurant. If we were to stay again we’d eat somewhere else. "

"I had an incredible stay at The Blind Bull. It’s one of those rare places that feels truly quiet and serene the moment you arrive. The surroundings are beautiful, the atmosphere is calm, and it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, thoughtful, and genuinely some of the best I’ve had on this trip. "Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! It is conveniently situated in the village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Location is also near Monsal trail for walking and cycling along all the beautiful dales by the river Rye. I am very glad I chose this cottage for our stay. Definitely recommend the cottage to anyone who wants to stay in the Peak District for hiking holiday."

"I've stayed here 2 years running and found it ideal. Clean, comfortable and stylish. Breakfast is cereal, crackers and milk in the fridge. Theres a pub next door which does full English breakfasts if you book the previous evening. "

"An excellent property, very homely, cosy and welcoming. Would definitely return. Found laundry basket, spare mattress covers and oven gloves in main bedroom. Not a great problem at all, but think these items were inadvertently left at the changeover clean. But this is not an important criticism - the property was wonderful."
