Lovely, until....

Well, it was all going so well. Check in was good, the room was spacious and facilities good, the AC a little old but it did it's thing, if only it didn't turn off when you exit the room. But a minor issue. The pool and beech area look lovely, and it was all going so well until breakfast. Chaotic, not enough seating, food limited and constantly ran out. And sadly after a awkward check out while I'm made to wait .. for reasons, I fell ill on the way out, the breakfast ! Sure, I may have just been very unfortunate, but 2 hours of stomach cramps wasn't what I'd really ordered. Sorry guys, you've a lovely place there, but you really need to get on top of the breakfast.

Room was very basic, they need to modernize it and make it more cozy. Specially bathroom !!! Breakfast wasn’t what you expect from this type of property they need more choices on this side and more fresh product like restaurant Good Old Sea which was incredible. Out of this, it was a good experience at very good place out of Pattaya dowtown and noise

Det var en trevlig resort, flera pooler, nära till stranden som tillhör resorten. Helt ok frukost. Det ligger lite utanför allt så här behöver man ha bil eller ta taxi för att komna till stan.

Weekend stay at Botany

Private, quiet place, good for relaxation... But need to improve the room A/C, its old and a bit noisy during the night, bathroom is clean but some smell from the drain... TV is still the old style.

Nice view from the hotel

Hotel room is quite old however the location is good, right next to the beach. A pretty big Swimming pool plus a nice breakfast in the morning. All in all, worth going for this.

No designated smoking area

The hotel doesn't have any designated smoking area, so people can smoke anywhere (room, restaurant, lobby, swimming pool). We had to move our kids away when someone was smoking at the pool. Their buffet breakfast was good. Hotel location is OK, next to the beach. But there was nothing near by in a walking distance. The staffs were friendly and professional. Room was not so clean and wall was very thin that you could hear the one next door.

Safety and security just wasn't there!

I stayed there with my girlfriend for 2 nights to participate in a running event. After the event, we decided to spend the days in the surrounding areas, visiting a few locations so suffice to say, we weren't in our room most of the time, only really to sleep, so our "requirements" I think, was pretty minimal. There were 2 things which were notable: 1) The door lock is the common round "push to lock" knob you see in people's homes in Thailand. The kind you have to push the button on the inside of the room before you leave and close the door so it is locked. If you forget to do this and just close the door, it doesn't lock. All this is fine and good as both my girlfriend and I are pretty aware and always check that the door is locked before we head out. The problem is that we stayed here for 3 days 2 nights and on both days where the maid came to clean the room, he/she left the room UNLOCKED! The first time, it happened, we didn't think much of it as we weren't sure if it was just us "forgetting to lock" it - basically we gave the hotel the benefit of the doubt. Both of us were aware though, that as I turned the key, there was no "click" associated with the door unlocking. The 2nd time, we were very AWARE and yes, the door just opened.........without the key. For a hotel to rely on this sort of mechanism to protect guests and their properties, you need to MAKE SURE YOUR STAFF lock the doors.. 2) Paper-thin walls. We could hear the TV from the next room.

It's the little things that make a difference...

Very nice grounds and gardens. Nice pools. But little things made a big difference in the comfort and pleasure of our stay. The TV in our villa was an old 23" with bad reception and the TV remote didn't work from the bed. You had to get up and walk half way to the TV to change the channel. There was no place in the bathroom to hang towels are wet clothes. And the AC had no temperature adjustment. You could only adjust the fan speed. We ended up being hot or cold but never comfortable. And the breakfast buffet was not good at all. The property has potential but these little things made a big difference. I won't go back.

Хороший не спокойный отель

Мы жили в отеле с 8 дней с 31.05.15. Спокойный тихий отель, находится на значительном удалении от Паттайи. Очень зеленая территория, 2 бассейна. В номере убирались ежедневно никаких нареканий по этому поводу. Для маленьких детей(до 3-ех лет) предоставляют детскую кроватку-манеж. Очень хорошие завтраки, меню разнообразное. Рядом с отелем еще 2 отеля справа и стоянка яхт с двумя высотными домами слева. Неподалеку от отеля есть магазин 7/11 и аптека. Ближайший переход на другую сторону шоссе на расстоянии 1 км возле отеля амбасадор, можно добраться на тук-туке или прогуляться по пляжу. В целом и нам и детям отель понравился и мы не жалеем о проведенном в нем времени.
