"I really enjoyed staying at this hotel because it is very convenient for sightseeing.
It made me happy, as one of the main reasons I visited Helsinki was to explore the city, and the location was perfect for that.
In addition, the hotel has a unique design, and I heard that it used to be an office building for a train company.
The hotel is well organized and well maintained, and I was very satisfied with my stay."

"Slightly old fashioned but clean, friendly, nice restaurant and bar on 10th floor with great views. Very (very) easy from airport to central station by train. No more than 4-5 min walk station to hotel. Hotel well situated for central Helsinki sights and waterfront. "

"The Hotel is beautiful, the architecture is amazing, lots of character. We had a nice room, bathroom had a lovely shower - that had an glass side into the bedroom!
Shower gel and shampoo provided and the hand basin had hand wash and hand lotion. A hairdryer is also supplied. There is tea, coffee and sugar along with a kettle. The cups don't have handles though and I did find this a little different as they were too hot to handle with tea or coffee in. Breakfast and evening meals were all in with the price, so great value! There is a sauna that is booked separately for privacy and a great little gym with a relaxation bed.I can highly recommend the Home Hotel Jugend and would stay there again. "

"I had an excellent stay at the Hobo Hotel in Helsinki. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, giving you plenty of room to spread out and settle in — a rare treat for a city‑center hotel. Everything was spotless from the moment I walked in, and the cleanliness stayed consistent throughout my stay.
The staff deserves a special shout‑out. Every interaction, from check‑in to passing them in the halls during the day, was warm, positive, and genuinely welcoming. They set the tone for a great experience.
Make sure you carve out time to enjoy the Hobo Bar in the lobby. The atmosphere is lively without being overwhelming, and the food and drinks were truly stellar — far better than your typical hotel bar offerings.
Another bonus: the hotel sits right across from the iconic Fazer Café. Trust me, you’ll find yourself wandering over more than once for pastries, coffee, or a quick treat.
Overall, Hobo Hotel delivers comfort, style, and great hospitality in the heart of Helsinki. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city."
